Carrigaline is a town and civil parish in County Cork, Ireland, situated on the River Owenabue. It is about 14 km south of Cork city on the R611 regional road, which passes through the town, and just off the N28 national primary route to Ringaskiddy. In 2016 Census, Carrigaline had a population of 15,770 people. The town had the world-famous Carrigaline Pottery, situated in Main Street, which closed in 1979.
